The Starting Point
JTS Forklift Services sells, rents and repairs forklifts for businesses across Utah. Buyers in this market search with intent: a warehouse manager needs a rental this week, or a machine is down and needs repair. JTS needed a dependable way to show up for those searches and turn them into calls, and they did not yet have a Google Ads program that could do it.
What We Did
We built the Google Ads account from scratch, with campaigns organized around the way buyers actually search for forklift equipment and service. As volume grew, we restructured the campaigns so that sales, rental and repair searches each lead to the right message.
Measurement came before scaling. We set up conversion tracking for calls made directly from the ads, calls to a tracked number on the website, and lead form submissions. That way every lead could be counted and tied back to the campaign that produced it.
From there the work was ongoing refinement. We reviewed search terms regularly, added negative keywords and adjusted match types, so the budget stayed focused on searches that could become customers.
The Results
Since launch, Google Ads has produced 531 tracked leads for JTS: 457 phone calls and 74 form submissions. The account averaged about 9 leads a month in its first six months. Over the most recent six months, May through October 2026, it averaged about 25.
Because the leads kept coming, JTS chose to raise its budget in stages, and the account kept producing as it scaled.
How We Measured
In this case study, a lead means a tracked phone call from an ad, a tracked call to the website number, or a completed lead form. Taps on the phone link alone are not counted.
